Course Description:
The book of Genesis contains dramatic stories that have laid the foundation for Jewish tradition and have shaped the cultures of many western countries. The details the biblical creation, Noah and the flood, Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebekah, and Jacob and his family. Yet for many, their exposure to these stories is only ever in Sunday school or at church. They hear the stories, but often do not have the opportunity to look deeper into the actual text. This series will dive deep, specifically examining the curse on Adam and Eve, Noah and the flood, the sacrifice of Isaac, Jacob and Esau, and Joseph revealing himself to his brothers.
